There’s a great scene in the movie Walk The Line where a record executive sits unimpressed, watching a young Johnny Cash perform. He suggests to Cash he doesn’t believe in himself. Cash takes it in, dismayed, then makes a decision to take a risk. He starts to play a song he’s never played for anyone before, Folsom Prison Blues.
